We are an organization dedicated to addressing and promoting awareness and early prevention for mental health. We believe that mental health is a critical part of overall wellness for all ethnicities, all ages and all cultures. Therefore, this years’ focus will be on the collective efforts to educate our guests on the aftereffects of trauma, the correlation between trauma and mental health, promote well-being, foster recovery, and how somatics play a crucial role in recovery for participants to be more trauma-informed.

Our speakers are Ph.D., Licensed Social Workers, Certified Trauma Coaches, Board Certified Mental Health Coaches, and Trauma Survivors. They not only have the advanced education in trauma and neuroscience, but the life experiences too.

Topics will highlight: Cognitive Distortions/Complex Trauma, Somatic Movements, Cognitive Distortion Restructuring and Women of Color, Survivor’s Speak/Suicide Awareness, How To Take Up Space Effectively, How Illness Can Impact Your Mental Health, Addictions and Recreational Therapy.
We believe that in order to combat the mental health issue, we need to work together in our schools, communities and practices to bring forth more trauma informed education. This is important, as it helps develop an understanding as to what the neuroscience behind the aftereffects of trauma are and what ways WE can positively impact those who are struggling to find hope and reassurance on their journey. Our goal is to bring a greater awareness to the mental health crisis in our communities, expand our empowerment programs and recognize the mental health professionals on the frontlines of this widespread social issue who make our programs possible.
At our 1st ANNUAL TRAUMA & MENTAL HEALTH CONFERENCE, you'll hear from Doctor of Psychology, Certified Trauma Coaches, Board Certified Mental Health Coaches, Addictions Counselor Assistants and Trauma Survivors
use their expert trauma knowledge, neuroscience and life experiences to bring hope, encouragement and empowerment to everyone who attends.

This conference invites mental health professionals, teachers, pastors/laypersons, families and individuals. You will learn about trauma from different aspects to help you in your clinical settings, in the classrooms, in churches, family dynamics and helping yourself.

​We Are The Voice was started 1 year ago from a group of trauma warriors who endured child & adult trauma. We have gone through some horrific things, yet God still carried us from the darkness to the LIGHT. That's what we want for each of you.
Our goal was to 'Be The Light In the Darkness & Voice" for trauma warriors. To show the ENTIRE world that we STAND OUT and will be their voice. Breaking the silence against childhood trauma and breaking intergenerational strong holds. A unique approach that everyone could wear and appreciate.
Determined to conquer this obstacle. That takes COURAGE &STRENGTH. You have that inside of you!

We face road blocks when it comes to receiving help. We face so many negative stances that most don't ask for help due to the shame. guilt and backlash they'll receive. CHANGE IS HAPPENING!
WE ARE THE VOICE brings healing and recovery all under one roof. Our conference will leave you feeling inspired, hope filled, empowered, changed and on your road to healing.

We have KEYNOTE SPEAKERS, BREAKOUT learning SESSIONS, and a PRAYER TEAM. Our team of professionals are ordinary people, just like you and I, will be present to teach and demonstrate ways for you and/or your clients to move forth from their trauma in ways much different than traditional. You'll meet amazing people, learn new techniques, and see you are not alone in this.
